1- Tech Reflect: Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of telecommuting.
there are many advantages of working from home. i want to be a business owner in the future inshllah, but i also have the responsibility of manning the fort, so it would be nice to own an online business at home, or managing the business at home. that way i don't have to leave all the time, and it will also save time and effort., and not to mention gas money!
but there are many disadvantages of telecommuting, one will start to get lazy, and maybe not take their work as seriously as they would when they have to do things face to face. All working form home is very limited and you have a limited amount of clientele.
it all matters on what the profession is and if there are many outlets to it online, but i do prefer the old fashion way, and that is face to face.
also telecommuting can be a threat to security and privacy, because you don't know who is watching your online conference, or who has access to your email and info, but working online also gives equality of access because since its online anyone around the world can access it, while if it was face to face only a limited amount of people can access you.
